Improve your psychological wellbeing.

If you're looking for ways to feel better in yourself, I can help you explore the Four Pillars of Psychological Wellbeing and develop better tools, deep insights and practical stategies to enhance your life.

Having worked as a psychotherapist for a long time I want to be able to offer you access to tools and techniques you can use maintain psychological wellbeing in your own time. A bit like having your own psychological tool kit  at home.

These pillars consist of comprehending the essence of a healthy, flexible mindset and actively cultivating it, fostering an attitude of self-acceptance and maintaining a deep awareness of personal values while wholeheartedly dedicating oneself to living a life which aligns with them. Alongside these pillars is having an understanding of how to regulate your nervous system and intentionally paying attention to this every day.

My Background and Qualifications

In 1997, after working in business for 15 years, I realised it was time for a change. I was highly anxious, having regular panic attacks, and my mood was low. I found myself self-medicating to cope with the stress and burnout. This was not the life I wanted to live.

It was time for some deep soul-searching about what I wanted to do with my life. I recognised that what really mattered to me was making a difference in people’s lives.

Becoming a therapist seemed the natural choice. So, in 1997, I began my training as a psychotherapist. I first qualified as an NLP Practitioner, then as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I then went back to university to study for my master's and have been training and learning ever since. My skills include Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EFT, and EMDR.

In 2023, while sitting on a beach in Greece and listening to the waves, I felt that the time had arrived to reach more people and share the tools that I had found transformational in the therapy room with a wider audience. That idea became The Empowered Path, a 12-week programme of transformation for women, which I am thrilled to be offering in 2024 alongside my one-to-one therapy work, lecturing, and supervision.

My Formal Qualifications

MSc in RECBT, Goldsmiths College

Practitioner Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy

EMDR Practitioner

Level 3 (Advanced) EFT

NLP Practitioner

Mindfulness Coach

Advanced Training in CFT

CFT for Trauma

ACT for Trauma

And while the qualifications are important, I have learned the most, and continue to learn, from the hundreds of clients—past, present, and future. I owe them all a debt of gratitude.
